KEM CORPRO 710 is a liquid corrosion inhibiting, concrete admixture. It is formulated to protect embedded reinforcing steel from corrosion, which helps in extending the service life of concrete structures.

Application Areas:

• KEM CORPRO 710 is a dual purpose corrosion inhibiting admixture which protects both the anodic and cathodic parts of the corrosion. It is a combination of aminoaclohols, aminocarboxylates and inorganic inhibitors.
• Due to its high vapor pressure, KEM CORPRO 710 penetrates through concrete seeking the steel reinforcement. It is then adsorbed onto the steel surface where It forms a continuous protective film around the steel. This film acts as a physical barrier to chlorides and other deleterious substances.
• KEM CORPRO 710 is recommended for all steel-reinforced concrete exposed to corrosive environments including, steel reinforced concrete bridges, highways and express ways exposed to deicing salts or corrosive environments.
• Concrete in or near marine environments, parking garages, piers, piles, and concrete dock structures.

Dosage / Coverage:

• For Moderate to low chloride 3 concentrations: 2 to 3 kg/m of concrete
• For high chloride concentration: 3 3 to 5.5 kg/m of concrete
• For sever marine exposure / extremely high chloride concentration: 5.5 to 8.5 3 kg /m of concrete

KEM CORPRO M 810 is a water-based organic corrosion inhibiting admixture. It is formulated for the protection of reinforcement in concrete structures. When mixed in the wet concrete as an admixture, KEM CORPRO M 810 migrates towards reinforcement and forms a layer that inhibits the corrosion reaction on the anode as well as the cathode poles of the reinforcement steel. This action yields resistance and tolerance to higher levels of chlorides and therefore a reduction in corrosion rate of the reinforcement steel.

Application Areas:

KEM CORPRO M 810 is recommended for use in:

• Reinforced concrete structures
• Corrosive environments with saline groundwater, high levels of chloride and carbonation
• Marine and coastal structures, roads and bridges, pilings, substructures, piers, pillars and pipes

Dosage / Coverage:

KEM CORPRO M 810 is admixed into concrete or repair mortars at the rate of 2.0 to 3.0 Litres/m . Once determined the dosage is fixed and it is independent of chloride levels (i.e. the dosage is the same for lower or higher chloride levels).
